i was wondering if you guys knew the best way to groove american racers/flat track tire for a straight stretch. i use them for drag racing and i didnt know if grooving would help or not.

Dirt or Asphalt? lateral grooves will give you more forward bite, while circumferential grooves will clear our fine grit, dirt, dust, etc.. Angled grooves help with side bite, but since your going in a straight line that's not necessary for your application. American racers provide good slide, I would recommend Hoosiers cross-block tread pattern offers a lot more forward bite.

i race on clay and thats why they hook up so good. thanks for the info. i might have to try the hoosiers
