But um...they didnt make 350x's in '96....? Is there something Im missing here? I mean correct me if Im wrong but I think they stoped makin them in '86 or '87?

i bet it was a typo look at 4 punks for awhile it said his quadracer was a 97 lt250r so if he mant 8 but typed 9 dont bash him look how close 8and9 are anyways...................:) pj

maybe that means the year the quad was built, or when the motor was last rebuilt, some people call their R's a 1997 250r, or osmething of that sort

Oh Im not bashin him about it I was just wondering what it was for. I thought about it after I posted it but and realized all of thing yall said chould be possiable but I am still curious to know.

Hey guys sorry for the confusion. The engine IS a 1996 crate engine. It didn't come out of a 350x three wheeler, rather it was assembled brand new in 1996. Check out East Coast ATV's ad in Dirt Wheels...they are still selling them. Hope this clears this up!:D

oooooo ok I got ya now! How much did u pay for the motor? Did you get the Powrol conversion kit? Im thinking about doing this conversion my self but I need to know what Im getting into. Thanks alot man
