Ive been reading up on setting up you're suspension and now I am really confused. My ? is do I set my quad up according to the ride height recommended for my type of riding or should it be set up according to race sag? I am completely lost here Ive read a ton of articles but it seems like if you set your sag to your weight you're ride height will be off? Any help would really be appreciated thanks.

just sit on the bike and get someone to measure the bottom of your frame to the ground.

DUDE...its obvious that he dosent know that much and when he reads your post he probably goes and sits in the corner. Cmon man, expand on it a little. I hate when people act like they know everything and write a post like this.

hes not asking how to do it. hes asking if he should go with race sag or ride hieght so i told him ride hieght.

For MX your going to want it alot lower than that JJs450r we run our bikes at 7 1/4 in the front and 6 7/8 in the rear. And there are a few pro and pro-am guys that go lower than that.

the only reason i run so high is because alot of tracks around here are sandy and get the common atv ruts that get pretty deep

I understand how to set the ride hight or race sag I just don't know which one to use I guess youd say. Because if I set for ride height I cant set my sag to be 30 percent of my shock travel. I hope I'm not sounding to confusing.

Thanks for your reply's but I believe I have it figured out. From Gtt website as I understand it I set my race sag in the rear then measure my ride height at the pegs then set the front ride height accordingly.
