problem with the kfx

my o5 kfx400 runs great ,however when i get on it for to long it dies out and just shuts off .i just wait 5 min and it fires back up.im thinking maybe something with the carb but im not sure. it sounds like its not getting enought gas and it just shuts off:confused:

like long meaning loike 30 seconds pinned or like 1 hr riding non stop i would say if its 1 hr non stop its over heating you may also want to clean your jets with some eather

does it only happened when it you are pinned completely? or will it happen at just random if your saying just pinned i might think CDI but your carb hunch could be correct I would still suggest cleaning your carb it takes only a few minutes and if this isn't right at least you have narrowed it down

its just like 5th gear mid throttle and on after like 30 sec it strarts shutting off ,then its on and off for a couple sec,then it shuts off

I wouldn't think carb if it was carb it would happen no matter what gear, this may be your cdi cutting out. Does your quad sputter or pop when your just riding around and you decelerate? Your jetting may be off what upgrades do you have?

did u check vacum? is it vapor locking cause gas tube is plugged?

have you tried puting it in nuetral and holding your throttle at high rpms for similer amount of time. that might help find prob. maby even buy one of 2 products and put in your fuel.
