Not getting spark

Here is what I did, I put a dirt bike kill switch for a starter button. It is turning over but I am getting no spark . I wired the two wires from the clutch lever together and wired the two wires from the stock kill switch together. I left the wires from the lights on switch and the dim/bright switch alone, just taping up the ends after I cut them off the switches. What did I do wrong?! Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Use a test light and make sure you are getting the right wires together, your ignition are red green and black I think....

I figured it out, I was not supposed to wire the two from the stock on/off button together. Runs great now.
