I know this has been talked about a million times but will the 08 models fit the 400ex? Thanks

im guessing its the same as the 07, but you have to grind a bit off your upper shock mounts

i dont under stand why everyone grinds the shock when u can just knock of the welded nut get a flatter bolt and put it so the nut is on top. Then it gives u the clearance to fit the shock without grinding anything.

You do NOT need to grind the shock OR grind the bolt for the plastic. I have had 2 sets of 450R shocks on my bike and didnt grind either set.

Yes they will fit...just put them on an 08 last week....

yeah...you really don't need to grind anything I just put a bolt going up instead of down and put the nut on top and it works fine on my 440ex
