great idea just can't get started

Hey I got no clue what I'm doing, looking for ideas. 95 300ex. Won't even try to turn over. Brand new battery, Tested the power coming from the start button getting good 12.63-12.68 volts. Checked the power side of the solenoid and getting good volts, But the Starter side of the solenoid will not get any volts at all. Changed solenoid same thing. Good Fuses changed them out. Seems to be in Neutral, But No neutral light or reverse lights. Been disconnected and looks to be gone for a long time. Been through all connections and see no corrosion or rubbing where it could be shorting out. I'm at a loss and a newbie. SO confirm that neutral is All the way down and a half shift up. LOL. Thanks.

yes, neutral is between 1st and 2nd gear

can you pull start it ?

does everything else electrical work ?

Doesn't have a pull start on it. All other electrical works fine, Head lamp comes on bright and strong.

pull start with another atv or have a friend push you

with the key on, pop it into second gear and it should start

this will let you ride it and make sure the starter is the problem

turn the key on and jump the solenoid with a screwdriver just touch both bolts with the screwdriver. it should start you probably have a bad solenoid or one of them black boxes on the front of the frame is messed up if the jumping solenoid dont work i had that problem on my 94 300

I changed the solenoid out this morning again, this is the 3rd one. No luck, I'm probably doing something wrong, but can't seem to think of what it is. Thanks again for the advice.

Do you hear the solenoid click when you press the start button?

there is a safety switch that wont let you start it when in gear
(unless clutch is pulled in)

Clutch is pulled in, no clicking from solenoid at all, No voltage at all. No clue, completely at a loss.

did you check the fuse?

can you pop start it?
