gasket sealer

well had a little mishap this weekend and pinch my case gasket and brp dont have any till like mid may so i was wondering if anyone can give me something that would work as good till the gaskets came in. yamabond is what i heard from a coulpe people. said it just like using a gasket. please some feedback asap.
