brake fading

Im noticing half way through a race my brakes are fading and i can pretty much pull the lever back to the grip. Anyone else had these problems? Ive also noticed that all the pro teams are running different master cylinders.

I have never experienced this, Are you running the same brake fluid that came in the bike when you got it? Just fronts, or are the back brakes a problem too.

just fronts and yes i am running the same fluid.

If the brake fade feels spongy you probably got some water or air in your lines…..replace the brake fluid.

If it feels firm but fades your pads are bad need replacing.
