Guys,
I have a 2002 400ex with a white brothers e-series, uni foam filter with lid on, choke removed, 42 pilot, 152 main, needle on 3rd notch, and the sparks timing advance key. ITP Wheels, Rar2 tires like new.
I have stock bore * I think, bought it used *
800 Feet elevation.
Mostly Woods and trails, I rarely get past 3rd gear. I LOVE riding wheelies and doing small jumps ( about 3 to 6 feet of air )
What is my next step in getting more low end or an all around better quad?
* SUSPENSION *
450R Shocks?
Works Shocks?
or Elka Recreational Series?
* CONTROL *
New handlebars to replace the stockers? what brand and what all do I have to change to put oversized bars on?
Remove the parking brake and put new clutch perch on? gets rid of a little weight I guess but the fact that it doesnt work anyway should answer that one for me.
* do a 416 kit with a stage one or two *
Is is worth it do to a big bore kit? I know that should be obvious but my quad has good power, not sure of compression since I have not done a leakdown test but it seems to run great.
I know alot of that is preference but if it was you doing it what would be the order you would do these things in?
