Hello I don't really know much about 2 stroke engines. But my uncle is rebilding his 250 Suzuki quadracer don't know the year. But he said they are very dependable and can outrun most 4stroke 400s in the market today.
I was going to get a Honda 400 but now Im thinking of gettin the 250 once he finishes the rebuilt.

What would the price be?

What do u guys thinnk?

it will deffinately outrun the 400. I paid 1,000 for one without a re-build with the stuff in my sig.

What year is it? What kind of shape is frame in? Cracks in frame or swinger? Got pics?

i believe it maybe a 89..
he did said there a few scratches like if it had been flipped...it has a fmh header.

well when hes done with it we will go out and try it out..ill see how it works.

there should be no cracks on it..

just seams better to buy that then a slower 400 for double the price.

You should be able to pick up a decent running 89 for around a grand no problem. If the engine is rebuilt (eveyone always says that!) , it should have good compression... do a test. Is he rebuilding top end or everything? Cases split and new bearings? Check case for any cracks or re-welds. Same w/ swinger. Check frame over real good, especially around shock mounts and lower frame rails.
These 250's are quick, and a lot of fun. It's just cool seeing them too cuz there aren't a lot of them around anymore... you will surprise a lot of your friends on their 400's .....:D
