I think its pretty simple. there's a few ways you can do it. i think the easiest way is to hook it up to your coil

I took one of the wires from the tether to the black and whit wire from the factory kill switch and soldered it in and shrink wrapped it. I then took the other end of the tether and put a ring terminal on it and ran any frame mounted bolt to it. Works great and real clean looking.

Thats a pretty good article. The only thing I would do different is to solder and seal all connections. Quick connect electrical stuff = headaches and butchered harnesses. I have seen to many guys get a machine wet and poooff engine dies until the machine dries out.

Well i just remembered that the killswitch on my bike is broke off...is there any way i could wire the tether to the kill switch and no longer use the killswitch?

Just installed mine on Friday and works great. No need for the harness.

If it's a normally open switch (pro armor is) all you really have to do is disconnect the ground path so that the switch has no effect when closed.

If you race mx the pro armor switch will cost you or it did me twice the cord gets wraped with the big a** ears on the switch it self an gets pulled out i took mine off and chunked it an put a pro design back on it but to ansewer your question mine is hooked to the coil.
