Well im in the process of refurbing my 86'. and im thinking a little more power. I already have boyesen reeds, full fmf exhaust. Ive been looking for an affordable way to get more power. The Pro design coolhead seems like what im looking for. but i havent heard alot about them. do u really get a noticeable gain in power?? and wat sizes domes should i go with?? thanks

I put one on my 92 LT and have been very happy with it. It was part of the engine work LRD did on my bike a few years back. They used a TRX250R 17cc dome. Of course I have to use race gas.

I can't remember all the dome sizes available for the LT250R. I am thinking 22 or 24cc and you wouldn't have to use race gas.

I never understood how this works.... the less cc's, the higher the compression rite?

Correct. Smaller dome raises the compression. One nice feature of the Pro Design is the domes are inter-changeable.
