well i took my 300ex out for the first time of the year yesterday and my steering is to tight it like sticks and i have to fight to turn the wheel i covered it with a tarp for the winter what would make it do this i didnt do it before i put it up for the winter

There are only a few spots that could make it stick or hang.
Just under the top plastic is where the stem goes through the upper support and there is a rubber sleeve / bushing that may be sticking. At the bottom of the steering stem it may be dry or sticking there.
Disconnect the tie rods from the bottom of the stem. A 15mm open end holds the tie rod end while you loosen the nut With the tie rods disconnected you will be able to tell if it is the stem or the spindles that are hanging up.
Find out which it is and then clean, lube, or replace.
