Exhaust Tone Changed

Did any of you notice your exhaust tone changed after installing the Sparks Timing Advance Key?

Is it due to more combustion/ more thorough burning or ?

due to a later spark and since the piston is compressed 6 degrees more. yes it does change the tone.

can you put a cam in a stock engine or do I need to wait until I do my 416 kit?

you could go with a stage 1 hotcam, but on stock bore i wouldn't get anything else

^^^ yup, i have a stage 1 cam, i like it alot, i really felt the cam after i finally got a slip on, but i wouldent recommend anything more radical then a stage 1 for a stock motor
