Just stick with stock intake setup I know personaly that the esr loses power over the stock one. But the fci ive never ran but heard from alot of people that it dont flow as good as stock.

I would look into goin to trx 450.org and looking around there. They have a very extensive dyno room and that should be able to help you out alot. Im can almost garentee theyve checked both of these setups

keep you stock airbox it will save you the headache in the long run. I like the sparks filter kit it works awesome.

It shouldn't be that bad since he is racing TT. I've heard that running no box can gain quite a bit on the dyno. Maybe not on the butt dyno, but hey, power is power, right? I've even seen people cut a hole in their seat so they could get more air flowing;)

Thats what I did at first with mine worked pretty good through a full season except towards the end of the season, some reason the filter kept falling off so then I finally took my stock airbox cut where it was all open but I still had the mounts to the subframe. working pretty good so far.
