Starting problem

on some random times when i turn my key to start position i don't hear the fuel pump engage then i try to start it , and it wont, i usually have to wait atleast 10 min before the sound of the fuel pump is working then it starts, I have a HMF fuel controller, and the pink wire is cut, might lead to this problem

Cutting the pink wire has nothing to do with the fuel pump priming, and I wouldn't think an FMI would do it either, sounds like your fuel pump might be on its way out.

Yeah or the relay, swap the two outer ones up front...theres 3 in front of the radiator, put the fan where the fuel pump is and see if that fixes it. :confused:
