450R shock help

i got a set of 450R front shocks and am mounting them up today. i understand they are going to be a little stiff so i wanted to know what would be a good starting point as far as adjusting the settings to get a decent ride? i am 5'8" 160lbs. the quad will mostly be trail ridden with some track time and a few trips to the dunes a year. the quad has stock a arms as well. any help would be great.

Try letting all the preload out of the springs and soften the compression all the way. Turn the rebound down all the way and then open it back up about 1/4 of the way.
