Different brand head pipe and muffler?

I was not sure if it is ok to use two different brands for the head pipe and muffler? I was going to use a DMC head pipe and an LRD muffler? I race MX. Thanks

yeah it won't matter, as long as they fit together. I run a fmf pipe and dg silencer...
