OK, so I had to take my cam assembly off to change shims for the first time and I took the cam sprocket out of the cam chain. How should I get the cam timed back with engine? Can I line up the sprocket timing marks with the cam assembly arrows and turn the cam so the holes align or is it more complicated.

Any help is appreciated.

You can as long as you didn't seperate the chain from the sprocket. If you did you need to pull the plug out of the right side of the engine that comes out with a 10mm allen. Line up the dot on the crank with the mark on the case. Then you are at top dead center. Next you make sure the lobes fo the cam are pointed twords the rear of the quad. Now you put the bolt holes in the cam facing 6 & 12 oclock. Now bolt on the gear with the marks lined up.
