is this realistic, or is it like the "tornado" for automobiles?

Its true. but does it work? Prolly not. Does not make much more hp, but might be an option for woods riders.

alot of guys on the ktm site like it, they say it works. Low end is drastically improved. Some guys fitted the yz250 model to their 38 a/s carbs and noticed more low end.

it seems to be a bit high priced. i hope someone here has one and can give first hand experience.

It is basicly the same idea as a Kehin A/S carb the fins in the rear to better meter air at lower throttle openings, I know guys that have used them they make a small difrence but those where on four strokes, I would guess you are running a 2 stroke ?
I would just buy a 35 A/s or 38 A/S carb and not mess with a slip in chunk of metal

i have a 400ex and a 250r and the 400ex basically sits. i was looking at little bolt on stuff that claims to possibly increase the torque of my 250r because that is what i mainly ride now.

run a thiner head gasket for more compression, which will give you more bottom, or drop a tooth on the front sproket.

im racing mine in xc, running a pretty much stock engine with a very mild low-mid port with a air styker carb and lrd pipe, i have to clutch mine about half as much as my brother does on his fancy yfz450

i already use a CR head gasket. i like the gearing where it is just looking for it to pull harder in the gearing i already have.

I've got boyesen's version of those (power wings) in my 800 rev mod snowmobile, they did improve the low end / midrange on that.
