View Full Version : Setting up my shocks

I need help setting up my stock shocks until i can get aftermarket ones. Im pretty light about 145 with riding gear. So any help?

Well unless you can get them re-valved the best thing you can do with them being as light as you are is set them all the way soft, theres not much to work with on the stock shocks, been there done that... hope this helps

Like what do i do to make them all the way soft. Im kinda new to the shock thing. And i just dont have the money for shocks and a arms.

honda stock shocks are really stiff for us light weight guys, they should have an adjustment on the top of them and on the bottom, just take a staight screw driver and turn the knobs to soft, ride it and then if it feels to soft tighten them up a bit, but i weigh 160 and i had mine all the way soft, and they felt pretty good for stockers, hope this helps yea out a little bit better

Ok thanks. And what about the rear? anything i can do there? Or is it the same as the front?

id did the same to the rear,,
well chadbarger18, i guess you got lucky...lol, im 160 and i had to soften mine all the way,
