Question on repacking pipes

I have a fmf performax pipe on my300ex its just like a mega maxll just older and i was wondering if i can repack it cause it is starting to lose it nice rumble if you can repack it how do you ?

ok here it goes

1. remove the slip on from the bike
2. there will be eirther bolts or pop rivets in the rear of the silencer ..remove them
3. slide your "baffle and internals of your silencer out
4 un-rap your old packing
5 apply your new packing..not too tight but sung
6. put the "baffle" back into the slip on
7 re-install bolts or rivets
8. put silencer back on bike and go ridin..
