I know Nac's makes a plug for it. I don't have a plug in mine, I'm not sure what the pros/cons are by not running one.

the only cons on using one will be it gets on the way for engine/chassis work. A pro might be more air to the airbox, with lid removed, I can't much improvement w/ snorkel. A common plug for it, not fancy, not expensive, nor good looking is a cap off a spray bottle or race gas jug.

I use a freeze plug from NAPA. Any auto parts store will have freeze plugs. Just get one thats the right size and your set!
