400EX Carb on 250X? 250x upgrade help

Has anyone put a 400ex carb on a 250x? I know people have put them on 300ex, but never heard of them on 250x.

I just did a full rebuild on my 250x with a hot cam, wiseco piston, cobra exhaust...and I am looking for what I should do with the carb. Either a jet kit or carb upgrade. Let me know what your thoughts are.

I have a 400ex carb for sale if your looking for one. I am looking to get 50 shipped.

This was on my stepsons 300EX with a 12:1 comp piston and a Hot Cam with White Brothers full exhaust. It is all going back to stock to sell so the carb isn't really needed now.

Is there a benefit of a 400ex carb over a jetted 250x/300ex carb? I was going to get a jetted 250x/300ex carb from a friend for $30. Let me know what you guys think.
