Try looking up on YouTube some videos used with the 'Go Pro Helmet Cam', you may get the chance to see the quality is produces there.

You're looking in the ballpark of the cheapest being about $140 and it goes up to roughly $200.

There are others cams going on Ebay for around $100+, but the quality goes way down. A riding buddy of mine bought a cheap cam for $100 off of that site and the battery doesn't last long, it has little memory storage, and the quality is horrible. Spend a little bit more money and get a much bigger quality difference.
