clutch problems

i bought a 04 trx 450r from someone and it came with a barnett racing clutch
i havent actually riddin it yet but whenever i shift into gear it starts rolling forward. like the clutch isnt engaging or something
is this just an adjustment or is it not set up right?

How much free play is in the lever?

I dont understand is the bike running or off when it is rolling?

Could be a number of things. Cable not adjusted correctly. Worn plates, fibers or springs. Grooved clutch basket or hub. Just check it all.
