400ex hood

What hoods are available for the 05-07 400's. I bought a maier hood on ebay for an 04-05 450r because I was told that it would fit my 400. Well I bought it and paid for it and after getting screwed around for 3-1/2 almost 4 weeks I finally got it. I tried putting it on tonight and it is too long to mount up. I am just getting frustrated with the whole ordeal at this point. I would apreciate any help. Plus I thought it would fit when I was told that since the stock hoods are interchangeable. Thanks.

I bought a GenX Atv front hood that's designed for a 450. It took a little modification and some trimming, but it fit's fine (especially for how sweet it looks). GenX's is fiberglass, so it holds up pretty well to abuse.

I wish quadtech still made the 400ex hoods... Anybody know if the250r hood willl work on the 01' 400ex plastic.

a quadtech hood for a 250r will work on a 99-04 400ex.
