Hi everyone, I'm kinda new and I was wondering if anyone has had any problems after they have gone to a 416 or a 440? I would like to do this this coming summer but I was told the other day that doing this causes the motor to blow up easier, and alot faster than stock. I was hoping someone could clarify this?

whoever told you that is an idiot!!!
if you build a motor correctly, it is as durable as a stock motor.
just make sure your machine work is done by a good machine shop.
pick quality parts and assemble the motor correctly and you wont have a problem.
jetting has a lot to do with longevity of a motor. after building it make sure it is jetted correctly and you use good quality gas.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I'm definitely gonna look into doing that this summer.
