Joes ford GT updates?

I was wondering if those of you that know about this car have heard anything about it lately

last i heard it was making in the neiborhood of 1400-1500hp
anything news on it would be great

Here's an import that's faster with traction:

all wheel drive > two wheel drive

2wd+gobs of horsepower = spin, spin .....fail

Yeah...he goes 161 mph through the 1/4 mile traps on the 1st run.

Also this guys in North Carolina, so it's not like this is some car in Europe or something like that.

I'll still take a RWD Domestic than that trash.... I guess i'm biased though. RWD is funner to drive anyway. :macho

The in the Ford video after the failure at the track they say they it was really meant for the street.

Twin turbo street racer...wooohooo.

BTW, this wasn't an attack against you or anyone else in this thread who replies contrary to what I like, as I would love to have the GT500, just not as much as that AWD 1000hp monster.

Again, taste is subjective and that's what makes everyone not married to my wife...

ya the lambo is cool, but think....he bought the gt and got the twin turbo kit installed and what nto for probably less than what that dude bought the bone stock lambo for....

that lambo is sweet

but its also set up for drag racing
the gears were really short

plus the fact that that GT will go 211 in 5th gear
6th....... they dont know:D

I love Ford GT's but these things right here, just get up and go! These are real wheel drive also.

Sorry, but the car runs a standard 6-speed gearbox, would the Lambo had the e-gear (electronic paddle shifter) it would have surely gone faster. They were even running it on street tires (Continental Sport Contact 2's) and not the sticky gumball race tires.

But while we're talking about drag racing this car did great with only a 1.89 60ft!

hmm, prettty sure this thread is about the ford gt? why would you say this lambo is better? there are cars out there that are better then both of those. Some people are straight up morons, GTFO!

Cant put the power to the ground unless the race starts at over 100mph! Waste of power. And the bikes that actully took off stayed right beside him. Nice, but not impressive.

yes you did ask about the Ford and then went on to challenge every one to come get some, as in saying it is the fastest car ever. So I posted videos of cars that would beat the ford.

i never posted anything saying it was the fastest car ever
i thought it was pretty cool that someone can make 1500hp on relativly stock engine internals and fuel delivery and i wanted to know if anyone had any recent info on it

not why it sucks on the drag strip
not if lambos are automatic or not
not what kinda of crazy drag cars, or what not can beat it

i did not say "post every single car that you think can beat it"

and the getcha some quote was not talking about 1/4 mile this is a hugely top end based car

big turbos = turbo lag at low RPM's
tall gears = duh its gonna suck on the strip
it wont hook up = 1500hp on stock width tire b/c at the time the video was made they did not have a sticky enough tire to fit on the rim, as it said in the video, you tell me:confused:
