i usually don't have many good things to say about klaws, but it sounds like they would be ideal in your case. the control you have while sliding is amazing, and they bite when they need to... usually. my only complaint is that i seem to have problems getting forward traction with them. however, ive had mine for a while now (like 3 years) and they are just starting to show wear. they are reversible depending on what type of terrain you're on, and i have yet to get a puncture after all those miles.

you say you do a lot of trail riding why not the itp gncc's

or some mxr4 in 19" for the rear, best of both worlds then get some 21s up front

I say go with holeshot gncc's. Mine have almost 2 years of HARD everyday riding and some pavement riding and they're just now getting to 1/2 tread, they get traction on any surface and are very durable.

I was looking at kenda Mx ones, and was wondering how they do in trails. Im in the same boat. I ride track and track style mostly. I dont ride muddy trails, but I do alot of hill climbing and fast open trails. I always wondered if they would do alright.

Why is that?

Also looking at tires - why don't people like the rzr2?

I think I'm gonna get stock Ohtsu's on the back next time. They are actually a good all around tire and last a lot longer than Klaws. They may not excell in anything but do decent everywhere

some say they hook up a little too well and/or the 400 doesn't have the power needed, so they can't break them loose. they look good to me though.

gbc x rex tires are awesome. Fronts are same as razr 2's rears are almost the same. And they are Cheaper. PM me if you want to know the cheapest place to get them.

I've been very satisfied with my Razr2's. I do agree they tend to hook up pretty well. I crashed at the MX track about 5 minutes into their first ride. HUGE difference between those and stock tires....I had no idea. They made it three hard seasons through very rocky trail riding, and have about 25% life left. I'm going to get Holeshots next to really compare, but I can't say a bad thing about the Razr's.

Hmm . . . wouldn't have thought that would ever be a complaint - too much traction. Weird.
