Well not all places are paved groomed trails like ruffryder gets to ride on. :D Some places are wide some places are small,,Driving 3 hours to a place to ride and find out your stuck between trees more than riding,,will not be a fun trip. go with +1 arms and if possible get an adjustable axle...Wider is not always better especially in the trails..

Where i ride the trails arent the greatest. But If i were you i would do +2 in front and +3 in back thats perfrect. Plus 1 aint worth doin. What kind a trails are you ridin on?.

the trails i ride on a stock 400 has trouble fitting between the trees, i sold the laegers +2 and went back to the stock a-arms, it all depends on what type of trails, my 300 is great on the tight trails

Thats all going to depend on what made the trails and what has been ridden on them in the past. None of my trails would be wide enough, but there are a lot of trails in different areas that I have ridden that are wide enough for a truck. My advise is if the quad is stock width ride it like that for a while then decide for yourself and if it is already wider when you buy it and your trails aren't wide enough just take it easy until they are because it is prety easy to make trails wider where they need to be or make a wider trail around an area that can't be made wide enought.

Just depends on how wide your trails are! Mine used to be able to fit 1 car, now its more like 3 in most spots, it got logged! They are so nice, except for some trees that still have to be moved.

+1 is so much better then Stock.

+2 can get a little to wide in some places. If ya go +2 then make sure you run 4:1 inset rims.
