has anyone ever though of putting a rev. tach. on there quad? like one of the ones with a shift light n stuff, if so how would i go about dooing this? i would love to get one, just wondering about the wiring because there is no harness to plug it into

i have a MSD tach and shift light on my 500ex drag bike. it is made for motorcycles, it wires into the coil and you set the shift light on the tach. they are kinda pricey, i gave about $225 for mine.
