I dont know what a FMF Q is but i have a FMF powercore 4,, great power,, must go all the way tho.. like airbox vents larger header pipe and jetting (128) but i love mine, great sound 2.

I would say Prob Not. nothing that gonna make u notice any major change. imo My powercore 4 has a spark arestor also.. but no silencer. If you have a full head pipe, thats a good increase right there alone.

The only difference between the Q and the power core 4 is that the Q is designed for trail riders and what not because it is quieter hence the "Q". As far as power you probably wont notice any power gains.

TC and Sparks are loud.
Yep, everything is a trade off. My FMF Q2 seems to be a great balance of added power and decent , but trail friendly, sound.
An added bonus of my Q2 (I have the head pipe and canister) is that the packing seems to last a LONG time. I check it now and again but don't change it till it starts to burn through. Even the really cheap FMF packing lasts well.

I have a Pro Circuit T-4 full system on my 300ex and love it. Its got a nice sound and has lots of power. Its a little pricey for the full system. The slip on is $449.95 CAN. And for the full i think is like $600 CAN or something.

I never heard a Cobra pipe.. but i know they don't perform like a FMF. they are kinda cheap. A stock pipe should be quiet. not sure why u are loud. leaky exhaust somewhere, maybe?

Keihlin is stock jetting and DJ is well DynoJet jetting. Two different sizes. If its a Keihlin 128 then the equivalent in Dynojet is a 120 and a 128 Dynojet is a Keihlin 137.5 jet. Here is the link where I found this: http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=344906&highlight=jets+kits
Thats all I know. Hope it helps.

theres accually not alot of difference. the TC is louder. but they're both reverse megaphone pipes so they are pretty much the same in terms of power. the TC is more of a high rev pipe where the sparks is more all around.

The inner core of my Sparks rusted, and blew out. I found a TC on ebay for $246. I think they retail for about $589. The TC seems to pull better from mid to top. Also had good luck with the Sparks. I had a 138 and a 38 pilot in for both of these pipes. Worked out pretty good.

kehein are basically stock jet while dj are dyno jet after market. the number sizes differ. dyno jet are smaller number for the "same" jetting result
