300ex kill switch

where do i mount the long wire? i already grounded the short wire. where is my coil...is it at the back next to the battery or is it next to the head of the engine and where the spark plug is

help...racing this weekend and i need the kill switch to work

your plug wire connects to the coil. The one by the battery is a rectifier.

so what now..do i wire it to the plug wire or sumting

there should be a wire going to the coil (not the plug wire) with a little clear rubber sleeve over it. just pull that off and hold your wire on the terminal while you put the sleeve back on the wire with the clear sleeve should hold your kill switch wire on.

The coil (on our 08) is under the left front fender. Has a green wire and a yellow and black wire. Tap into the yellow and black wire.

I spliced 2 connectors into the wire to the switch (made a Y) one to connect to the yellow/black wire and one to the coil. This way I can unplug if needed.

No picture now maybe tomorrow.
