I am thinking of getting a crankcase vent valve, I am going to start with an autozone one and if that dosent work, then I will maybe get a thumper racing one. Does anyone know the pros and cons each. ALso, when installing it, is it simply cutting the line and clamping the valve in there or is there something else that needs to be done?
thanks.

Yes, you jest cut the vent line and install inline(in the proper direction). You need to make sure that it will be rated at 10,000 rpm. The valve will allow a release of excessive crankcase pressure, and help so that excessive pressure will not blow out oil seals and gaskets. It's kinda a preventive type thing. There is a big write up about this over at predatorowners. I have the thumperacing one.
Oh ya, the claim a 1 hp increase, but I doubt that is true unless you are overfilling your oil. Then you may notice a difference.

I used this one from Autozone, Havent got to ride mch to see if helps though. But some say they work just as good as the high dollar ones.

Thats not ideal b/c the vacume from the carb evacuates the fumes ect from the crankcase.
