yzf426 motor oil question

i am running a yfz426 motor bumped to a 455 by tom carlson with a oil wet sump kit in it. my question is how much oil should i be running it it. i've been told one full bottle then i've been told one and 1/2 bottles. i've ran one bottle last season and changed it every ride. but can someone clear this up for me please so i dont stress that i'm using to little oil..

this is going to sound funny to you but i know someone with a similar set up and he runs 3/4 of a qt. its in the middle i guess

really? has he ever had any issues with the motor or trans?? i usually run a whole bottle and never had an issue. but then again, maybe i'm running more then i should be. :confused:

no issues at all, he does change the oil quite a bit. call dr. d thats the wet sump that he uses and they gave him the info. i dont think 1 qt would hurt anything to much oil can be as bad as to little oil also

7/8's to a full quart tops and you are good in that thing.
