Questions for 400ex owners

i have a 02 400ex that likes to rev high when it gets warm ( about 20 minutes into the ride)

is this normal?

also as i was riding last weekend the cap came off my t4 exhaust
this wont lead to any problems in the future will it ? (can upload a picture)
im 100% sure it wont hurt anything since its just the cap

I've never had that happen before
if you lost the cap then it will affect things

you might have an air leak causing it to idle higher? I would definitly check that out and get it fixed or you will ruin your engine.

also the end cap falling off your exhaust will cuase problems they end cap helps hold in the packing and inner exhuast and it will all blow out

its still holding everything in
thats why i said i dont think it will hurt anything :)

I would say poss. air leak. You can check it easy, Spray some either on the boot between the carb and the head. Stuff like that if the idle spikes you got a leak. just have the engine running.
