ok i dont know much about these 400ex's but i think i know what the problem is but maybe you guys can help me a little better. If i crank the bike over it will crank fine for a second or two then it sounds like the starter is slipping. Had the starter area apart and all the gears seem fine. Now im thinking its the starter clutch but not positive??? does this sound like that could or would be the problem??
