No spark on '86

So I just finished installing a new stator but it seems like something isn't right. When I kick the engine over, I get no spark and my headlights don't flicker anymore. What could the problem be? I have gone over all my connections and everything is intact. Is there a certain procedure to installing the flywheel? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

did you check the gap between the pickup and the flywheel when you installed it?

I got everything figured out now. I took it back apart and reassempled everything and double checked the connections now she fires right up. Thanks for the help.
