400 vs. 450

i have a 07 dvx with full fmf pipe uni with no lid and rejetted, what other mods would it take to keep up with a stock 450 in a 300 foot drag race

my old dvx had full pipe, ported head, hot cams, +2000 rev box and a rekluse clutch. still had stock piston though. 450 pulled it in first 20 or so feet but didn't get much further after that. i think with a higher comp piston i could have taken it.
It had some minor mods done as well.

Thats about what i had in my 400 and the 450 i raced had a full exhaust and filter and brand new tires. Jumped ahead of me about 5ft and slowly creeped away from me. I just got the drz kit and new tires so hopefully i can do better now.

I think you should be right on par with a stock 450. Granted the 450 should take yea, but its not gonna walk away from yea.

i can jump the line with the 450s but cant beat them on top end!
