axle carrier

i posted about a swing arm before, but can't find the thread, so sorry for cluttering it up some. but anyway. i was riding the other day and my carrier looks basically like the bearing on one side froze to the axle and the carrier and just twisted the carrier and its cracked/ broken about 3/4 of the way around. I've been tossing around the idea of getting a new swinger but they are so expensive and i'm debating on just getting a carrier off ebay. i have an 03, and there are ones just for 03 and then others for 04 and up. what is the difference and do i need one for just an 03? or will any work? thanks for the help in advance.

2003's have 2 studs to adjust chain tension.

2004+'s have one stud to adjust chain tension. Plus the four bolts are arranged differently.

You need one for a 2003.

Quad kids right. Ive compared my 04dvx and 03kfx and their different. I think 03 style cost more too : (
