I just got my motor rebuilt with new valves, crank and piston. While getting rebuilt, i purchased a new hmf BB carbon fiber slip on. I am not sure where to go with the jetting. The quad runs perfect with the stock pipe with hrc tip with 185 main. The quad is a 2004 w/ hrc kit. I put the BB pipe on and at about 75-85% throttle, the motor spits and sputters like it's on the limiter. I know it's not. I put in a 195 with little or no change. I have the hrc lid on. I also put a 50 pilot in w/ 2.5 turns out on the screw. Should I pull the lid off completely. I'm not even sure whether it's lean or rich. Need help soon. Thanks for all advice.

check the spark plug first...if its rich then maybe remove the lid..rich=black spark plug..when its running lean the plug will almost loook like a white color...thats where i would look first...
