Good idea Rico! Hope that solved your problem! Did you forget to grease it in a while?

lol thats why I regreased everything and got new bearings in mine, I like to call it preventive maintance, hint hint. Sorry to hear that though its gonna be a pain rebuilding it but if you do it yourself your gonna save a lot of money.

something like this happend on my 250x a while ago. just riding along one day in the back yard and it starts making this terrible squeeking noise so i head up to the garage. sure enough it locks up as soon as i get there. i don't remember how much it cost but it was alot. i needed bearings, a carrier, and an axle as mine was torn up so much it couldn't be used. sorry to hear about it though. good luck getting it fixed

greasing the bearings does NO good. These bearings are sealed. Over time the seal wears out and the bearing is exposed to whatever you ride in. It doesn't take long for the dirt to force the grease out of the bearing.

If you had it apart to grease it, you should have removed & replaced the bearings. Its only 35.00 worth of parts if you catch it in time.
