I'm looking for ideas on lowering the footpegs. I'm 6'6" and riding a quad designed for someone who's 5'10 or so. Just trying to make the quad fit a little better for the GNCCs.

Any ideas?

I am guessing you are speaking about a 400ex. Or at least thats what my take is. I found that using AC Pro Pegs and the mount they give you is hard on us bigger guys. Im 6'3". If you call Ac and for $40 you can get the mounts for an 86-87 250R which bolt up and mountr the Pro-Pegs. It lowers them about 1"-1.5". And that did the trick for me. You get alot more control with that little bit of lowering. Hope that helps. Mo:p

Get the 400ex ac pro peg nerfs and flip the mounts and it'll lower the peg a good deal. I'm tall too, and it really hooked me up when I go to stand.

We took and got a set of pegs, cut the mounts off and combined them and then made a mount that was 1 inch down and 1 and a half inches back on my buddy's 250r and I am 6'2 and it was heaven.

i think roll makes lowered foot pegs by 1 inch.
