The Z400 started smoking today, checked the airbox and there is oil in there coming from the valve cover vent hose.
I took the valve cover off to check for messed up valves or anything out of the ordinary, the only thing is that when you turn the engine over a mist of oil comes from the spark plug hole. I am thinking bad rings or cracked piston but I don't have time to take it apart until I get back from work so I am looking for some suggestions until then.
I don't know much about four strokes so any help is appreciated. Thanks!
