What to look for at 100h ?

Hi, I'm looking at an '07 IRS 525 with about 100h on it. It has nerfs, jet kit, exhaust, intake, hand gaurds. I think I can get it for about $600 less than a barely used stocker.

Would you be worried about 100h on this machine? What should I look for? Cold start, hot start ? wheel bearings? The guy says he's changed the oil and filter every 2nd ride .

I'd just look everything over. Suspension wise....check all the bushings, bearings, tie rods, etc.

Check chain and sprockets.

Air filter, engine oil...


maybe valves, but prob not.

manual says to ring it after 90 hours. Like bradracer said, check all the tie rod ends/balljoints/etc...
