EX rear hubs fit on YFZ450?

I've heard that 400EX rear hubs fit on a YFZ450, and I've heard that they don't. Can anyone tell me for sure which it is, do they or don't they fit? I'd got some rear Honda wheels and practically new tires that are just sitting. I'd like to use if I could.

I tried it when I had both the 400ex and YFZ and the Honda hubs wouldn't fit the YFZ axle without a lot of force, more than I could provide with an 8 lb sledge. The YFZ hubs will fit the honda axles but will be a bit loose.

I thought maybe if you had a set of hubs that were worn a little, or maybe filed the splines a little, you could make them work on the YFZ.:confused:

Both are 24 splines, if you got a worn set of honda hubs they might fit.
