What is the easiest way to lap new valves and how do i know when to stop or shall I say when their good???

get some lapping compound from the parts store. mark the valve and valve seat at 3-4 locations around the radius with a permanent marker. just put a dab of compound on the valve. i normally place some fuel hose on top of the valve stem to rotate the valve. just work it in for a little bit and see where the seat is and that you have an even worn spot on the valve and seat.

When you're all done, assemble the valve, guide, springs, and the rest. Fill the intake port with denatured alcohol and let it sit for a couple minutes. If it leaks through, the valve isn't seating correctly and you've got more lapping to do. Same with the exhaust valves.
