Does anyone own a Clymer Shop manual? I am thinking about buying one, are they any good? Are they the same as a stock one?

Thanks

I'm very happy with mine. I think it was like $25 from Magic Racing.

Yea RipTear I got one from Royal Distributing for $40 i think. I actually bought it for my dad but we both use it. Its pretty handy to have around. hhaha no comparision to the stock one. The book has pretty much everything you want to know about maintenace.

Got mine off of E-bay from a company called wyomingben. They were fast getting it here and it was only $19, plus like 4 shipping.

Thanks for the input! HondaRider300 is talking CND $ so that is good, it comes to like $37. The manual will tell me like all the torque #'s. Would someone fairly good with mechanical stuff be able to tear down the whole quad and put it back together using the manual?

I mainly need to manual for torque #'s, rebuilding (swing arm stuff), regular maintainance, and some other stuff. Not like I plan on ripping the engine apart and stuff.

Thanks for all the comments, if you have anything to add please do. I need to wait a bit to get the manual anyways, I am out of $, but I sure am glad to know I have insurance on it! :)

I hate the clymer manuals, they are inconsistent on some major stuff. I put my R tranny together by one and I only had 1-4 gear. I got a factory service manual now, wayyyy better, and it was free!!!:D

Alot of people end up buying both incase one leaves a question unanswered, you can refer to the other one.
